Isoniazid, a tuberculosis drug
Below is the structure of Isoniazid, or Isonicotinic acid hydrazide. It finds use in treatments for tuberculosis. This compound, which incorporates a carbonyl functionality as part of the hydrazide (similar in structure to a secondary amide) and the nitrogenous heterocycle pyridine.
